Letter 10: You Can't Save The World Alone

Justice League came out last week, went to see it last Saturday. Must say I'm not really pleased with the film
First of all, it feels like they just turned an cartoon episode into a life-action movie, the plot is boring.... Don't really have much character development.

Second, don't forget they asked another director to reshoot some scene. *the original director Zack Snyder left the crew due to his daughter's suicide. Zack asked Joss Whedon, the director of the Avengers to take over. Though one knows how to deal with colors and the actions , the other knows how to handle the characters and add comedies into the film, sadly these two directors' style still don't quite match.
Not a good movie but certainly not a bad one.

What really pissed me of is the soundtrack, more specifically the composer Danny Elfman. He didn't put much effort in scoring the music for the film, cause he thinks he can use old themes of the characters and makes the audiences feel fresh again. Yeah sure, hearing what we are familiar with will surprise us, an easter egg for the fans, but not everyone has seen the old movies. 
And what he said in a recent interview just makes me feel like WTF dude !?

"The whole concept that every time a superhero franchise is rebooted with a new director, then you have to start the music from scratch, is a bullshit idea. It’s only for the ego of the director or the composer," says Elfman. "They need to learn the incredible lesson that Star Wars and James Bond have known for ages, which is that keeping these musical connections alive is incredibly satisfying for the people who see those films."
See..? He doesn't give a sh*t about this job, And the examples he made....Star Wars and James Bond ? The former never rebooted the latter sure did (and a lot of time) but not entirely.😒
Btw he thinks the Batman theme he made in 1989 is the best of all Batman themes...

    Thank you for the movie review. I thought that i could wait for this film to come out on Netflix, and your comments make me sure of it. Did you have a favorite character in the film? The last of these "Marvel Comics" films that I saw was "Wonder Woman", and I thought that the actress did a good job. Was she any good in Justice League"?
    The movies that I want to see during December are "COCO", the Disney/Pixar movie about Mexico, and of course, the new Star Wars movie. Some of my Mexican students from Nogles saw Coco, and they liked it, so I think that I take my grandson.
    You, Jay, and Sabrina did a good job on your "Three Little Pigs" story. I told Sebrina that she was assigned to work with you two just to keep everyone on task so that the assignment would get done. Was that true? Sabrina seems to be a very nice person, but a little too serious most of the time. Does she lighten up and have some fun once in a while?

      Wonder Woman and the Justice League are actually from DC. Marvel and DC are two different company. Both of them are top of the superhero comics industries. People often get them confused. XD

      I've also seen Coco too, the movie is amazing, it reminds me of my grandma....almost made me cry.

      Less than 10 days till the releasing of The Last Jedi, they kinda screwed The Force Awakens up, let's hope it will be better this time.

Never watched an episode of the old DuckTales, but I really like the reboot. The animation is great and the show is super funny that I laughed so hard. The story is about 3 ducklings Huey, Dewey and Louie go on adventures with their super rich grand uncle $crooge McDuck. Scrooge is voiced by David Tennant, the 10th doctor (Doctor Who) and Kilgrave from Jessica Jones, his British accent is really fascinating. If Disney just treats Star Wars and Marvel Animations like this. 🤷 ‍ ♀ ️ And Cartoon Network, this is how you reboot a goddamn show!!!!!! Stop destroying our childhood.

Hi Tim, my name is Patrick and I'm new here.😉 My hobbies are playing video games, watching movies and TV shows, reading comics. Guess I just like hearing stories. Oh! Letter 23: EHP

To be honest, 'til now I'm still  not sure whether coming to the EHP is a right decision or not. Yes, being in this class makes me feel I'm not just wasting my time sitting in school waiting for the class to be over. So this whole drama thing is like a tradition of the EHP, we spent about 2 months preparing the performances/ be forced to stay late at school for rehearsals, making the props, etc etc etc.. And now the show is over, everything is back to normal. No need to stay until 9.pm to go home anymore. Drama Generations  People Black tea Farewell Oh and bye Tim, this is the last letter. It's weird to write to a person across the Pacific Ocean every week....well it's also kinda cool though.
